Goodbye Part B List???

edited May 2017 in General

When I joined the Part B List 20 years ago there were 87 members, the last I knew there were over 2,500 now.  There has been an immeasurable amount of knowledge shared via Part B email.  This change to a web based forum will significantly reduce (if not eliminate almost entirely) the participation on this forum.  The advantage to this forum over the others is that it has been email based and did not require the user to navigate to a website.  The questions and information came to us instead of us having to go look for it.

It is a shame that after 20 years of great information, what has probably been the most used coding discussion forum in the industry will has start to dwindle away to nothing.

  • I agree whole heartedly with Mr. Thomas.  Please reconsider restoring the email functions.  This forum was and is a very valuable tool for the coding industry.

  • I agree, you can already see that fewer people are answering questions! Too bad.
