Wound closure with open fracture

If the patient presents with an open fracture and we do an open repair, can we bill for the closure of the open wound?

    I am questioning this also & would like to know what other's are doing.  I was told due to bundling the closure would not be separately reportable unless done at a separate site.  Interested in hearing back on.  Thank you

    You should be able to code for the wound closure because it was an open wound. If it's a surgical wound that the provider opens then you cannot bill separately.
