CHRONIC (23412) VS ACUTE (23410)

My doctor gives me 23412 for a tear that is only 2 1/2 months old. I was thinking that a chronic tear was 3 months or older. Should I go with his thinking that the tear is chronic is less than that? Thanks,

    Yes, there is. It is a work comp injury and with those I usually always go with acute.
