CTI ablation after PVI ablation

Hi All,

Has anyone coded an atrial fib ablation case where the provider created complete isolation of all four pulmonary veins in the left atrium via transeptal puncture, then pulled back into the right atrium for CTI ablation for atrial flutter? Is 93657 the right code for the CTI ablation? This code does specify atrial fib.

    93655, the PVI (93656) would be your primary ablation code.

    I code 93657 for add'l a-fib and 93655 for the a-flutter add'l ablation described below.

    93655 would be used for the additional a flutter ablation you describe. Be sure to use the other dx for that one code.
